DIY CAR TIRE WHEEL CAKE & CAKE MIX HACK - PINTREST

HEY BEAUTIES! This video is a little different -- today I am baking a CAKE instead of my FACE (jk i never bake my face). This amature cake baker is attempting to create a tire birthday cake for a little special boy. I have never worked with fondant like this before - sculpting it and covering an entire cake with it.. i have learned a LOT. I typically bake my cakes from scratch, but today i thought i would try a hack i saw on pinterest - the store bought cake mix hack! Cake Mix Hack: Today i am using Betty Crocker White Cake Mix 1. Skip the oil - double the fat (i added butter, melted & cooled down) 2. Add milk not water (i used Silk - almond coconut) 3. add an extra egg 4. i also added 1/3 package of vanilla pudding for each of my 3 layers to add a little bit more depth Items used to make cake: 16" cake base 12" Wilton Cake Pan Wilton Fondant (black & White) Wilton offset spatula Betty Crocker off set spatula: https://www.wilton.com/9-inch-angled-...
