Despite urbanization, Kansas City has a few remaining old growth prairies, light-dappled woodlands, shaded forests, and rich wetlands. Bridging the Gap’s Kansas City WildLands program conserves, protects, and restores these remnants of original landscape by connecting people to steward the land.
