2005 ALCS Game 1 Highlights | Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim vs. Chicago White Sox

These are the highlights for Game 1 of the American League Championship Series. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim were working on a rebuild of their team after their miraculous 2002 World Series Championship and are back at the ALCS once again. This time, the Angels face off against the Chicago White Sox. The Chicago White Sox have developed a postseason run of their own under strong pitching performances and are back again in the ALCS for the first time since 1983. The Angels were tired after arriving Chicago in the morning, but they don’t let that dictate their performance. The White Sox have Jose Contreras on the mound, who has been great during the postseason. The Angels have Paul Byrd, another pitcher who has shined in the postseason. Both teams face off against each other in a close game where both teams try to have a Game 1 ALCS win. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the clips and Game footage shown in these highlights.
