America's Oil War: Black Gold, Greed & Betrayal (1859–1935)

What started as a risky experiment in the small town of Titusville, Pennsylvania, would eventually change America and the entire world forever. In 1859, Edwin Drake attempted something that had never been done on this scale before: drilling deep into the earth to bring oil directly to the surface. I spent nearly 20 days researching, writing, animating, and editing this documentary to bring this story to life as accurately and engagingly as possible. From the history of Titusville to the challenges faced by Edwin Drake, every part of the video was carefully developed to create a cinematic documentary experience. #oilwar #americanhistory #historydocumentary
