San Diego County Celebrates Rosh Hashanah: Jordan Marks Joins Jewish New Year Proclamation

San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk Jordan Marks joins Supervisor Anderson, the Board of Supervisors, Jewish community leaders and more than 30 local Jewish organizations to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Marks helped organize and shape this special countywide celebration, highlighting the contributions of San Diego County’s Jewish community and the shared values of faith, family, service, reflection and hope. The event also featured a Rosh Hashanah proclamation from the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, recognizing Sept. 11-13, 2026, as Rosh Hashanah throughout San Diego County. Jordan Marks praised the Board of Supervisors for their continued support of faith and community organizations and its commitment to celebrating the diversity that strengthens San Diego County.
