Hiking Up a Railway to an Abandoned Mountain Fortress (Budget Travel)

This was one of my favourite travel days so far - I wanted to go to a place with this incredible cave fortress complex, but it was out of my budget so instead I thought it would be fun to do a budget challenge and see how much we could do with just £15 for the whole day. I went on a hike along the railway that I'd found some very limited information about - I heard it led to a fortress on the mountain but I had no idea how accessible it would be or how long it would take. it ended up being a lot of fun and a memorable experience. I also managed to see an amazing soviet mosaic and eat some local food.
