OL Lyonnes - The Team Built To DESTROY Barcelona!!

Barcelona beat OL Lyonnes 4–0 in the 2026 Women's Champions League final. It looked like the end of the story. Barcelona had won another European trophy, while Lyon were left to watch one of the most painful defeats in their history. But instead of simply accepting the result, OL Lyonnes started rebuilding. They kept Jonatan Giráldez — the former Barcelona coach who knows the club's system from the inside. Then they brought in Caroline Weir, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Lily Yohannes and a collection of elite attacking talent. And then came the transfer that changed the entire story: Salma Paralluelo joined Lyon from Barcelona. The same player who had scored twice against Lyon in the Champions League final was now joining the team that wanted to take Barcelona's crown. With Ada Hegerberg, Marie-Antoinette Katoto, Melchie Dumornay, Tabitha Chawinga, Jule Brand, Salma and more, Lyon suddenly have an attack capable of threatening almost any defense in Europe. And their start to the new season has been explosive. But can this new OL Lyonnes actually challenge Barcelona when it matters most? In this video, we look at Lyon's rebuild, Jonatan Giráldez's Barcelona connection, Salma Paralluelo's move, their attacking firepower, and the growing battle between two European giants. Barcelona still have the crown.
