Public Misunderstands Police Directive on Charcoal Use – Ban Limited to Northern Uganda and Teso

The police statement on the President’s Executive order number 3 of 2023 that banned charcoal business in northern Uganda and Teso subregion has brought panic among the public especially in Kampala after the message was wrongly misconceived. However, digging deeper into the statement, the directive was only limited to northern Uganda and Teso subregion.
