Who knew that everything I wanted was here... and I had somehow convinced myself I didn't want it? ========================== After recording this episode, I experimented with the bomb juggle some more, and here's my final conclusion: It's [probably] possible... but not reasonable at all. You need about 20-ish juggles (maybe more) to cross the room, and at least half of them need to be [frame perfect] to succeed, otherwise you'll lose too much height. The real problem is that the game's framerate isn't consistent. I'll occasionally get a small amount of lag that moves the timing slightly later, causing me to fail when I use the usual timing (since being early results in immediately failing the trick). I even tried using a macro to ensure a perfect rhythm and it still didn't work. That being said, I'm sure it's technically possible, if you're able to adjust to the lag frames and hit enough frame-perfect inputs. If anyone out there is dedicated enough to try it, here's my advice: use the visual cue of the bomb coming back. It's the only tell that should still work even if the game lags. Both the rhythm and the sound cue will betray you. You're looking for the very first frame the bomb turns pink after it appears. It will still look egg-shaped if you time it right. If you see it become vaguely bomb-shaped, your timing is too late. If you have a better computer, it might prevent the lag problem... but I'm not sure. And remember, you don't need to be perfect ALL the time... just most of the time.
