WHO ARE THE SCHOLARS?

Who are the scholars whom you advise the youth to benefit from, follow their lessons and recorded lectures, take knowledge from, and refer to during important matters, crises, and times of fitnah (tribulation)? Answered by the Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Al-'Allāmah Sālih Al-Fawzān حفظه الله: At the forefront of our scholars is His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Aziz ibn Baz, may Allah have mercy on him. Indeed, he is a man whom Allah, the Glorified and Exalted, has blessed with abundant knowledge, righteous deeds, calling to Allah, sincerity, truthfulness, and qualities that are hidden from no one. All praise is due to Allah, much good has come from him in terms of writings, authored books, recorded lectures, and lessons. Likewise, the scholars who issue verdicts on the program Noor 'ala al-Darb—the Ummah, all praise is due to Allah, is content with their fatwas and relies upon them, having experienced their sound verdicts and beneficial statements. Among them are His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Aziz ibn Baz and His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymin. Furthermore, among the prominent scholars who have a long-standing role in da'wah are: ​His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbad ​His Eminence Sheikh Rabee' Hadee ​His Eminence Sheikh Salih al-Suhaymi ​His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Aman al-Jami Indeed, they have exerted great efforts in da'wah, sincerity, and in refuting those who seek to divert da'wah from its correct path, whether intentionally or unintentionally. These scholars possess experience, expertise, the ability to weigh statements, and the capacity to distinguish the sound from the unsound.
