This is UK club racing | National Road Relays 2026

Last year, I ran the first leg of the National Six Stage Road Relays and Highgate was able to come away with 3rd place, finishing just behind Tonbridge and Cambridge. With only two members of last year’s team returning this year, it was always going to be an uphill battle for this new-look team to match the success of 2025. However, it also presented a great opportunity for new members of the club to gain experience racing in the A team and, hopefully, help develop the club’s strength for the future. This year, Highgate were also able to qualify not only an A team, but a B team for the National Six Stage Road Relays, a great reflection of the depth developing throughout the club. For me, this race came at a slightly uncertain point in the season. After spending the summer travelling around China, my fitness was still a question mark as I began building back towards the upcoming cross-country season. Hope you enjoy the video!
