🎣 I Went Looking for Bass… But Newton’s Cove Had Other Plans!

I went to Newton’s Cove with a plan… but the session had other ideas! Starting off with an URF rig, I managed a really nice garfish before switching things up and trying to find some mackerel and scad on the lures. As the light started to fade, I managed to get amongst the scad and decided to put one out as live bait for a big bass, hoping something special might come along. But while waiting for the bass, I thought I’d have a go for squid… And that’s when things got a little hectic! 🦑 What started as a session chasing a big bass turned into a brilliant evening of garfish, scad, live baiting and LOADS of squid.
