🌱 Evening Descending Mercy — Bhagavad Gita 12.15 — When Everything Within Is About Krishna - 09/08/2026
Sri Guru is like a compassionate, loving guide who gives us Krishna and keeps us engaged in the loving service of Bhagavan—in the Holy Name, in Sri Vigraha, and in the heart of every living being. Every moment, Sri Guru is engaged in serving the Lord. There is nothing else going on in his system. There is nothing he wants from outside and nothing he sees that is separate from Krishna. He is totally absorbed in serving the Lord.
When we want to reach this state, a truly beautiful and liberated position, we need the shelter of such a Mahajana who is completely filled with Krishna and is giving us Krishna so much. Then we can also come to that liberated position, where we are filled with Krishna—so much Krishna inside and so much Krishna outside.
When we are filled with Krishna, we become liberated from the mentality of offense and defense and from the mentality of possessing. Sri Guru and Sadhu-Guru are like Radhika, the personification of Krishna’s mercy, personally coming to rescue us. We are not orphans; we have Sri Guru and the Sadhu-Guru, who are so full of Krishna and lovingly keep us engaged in Krishna’s service.
When we want only Krishna, and we see that Krishna is being given to us by Guru, then what we want is only loving service to the Lord. There is no mentality of possessing anything in this world. When we see everything as belonging to Guru and Krishna, there is nothing to possess—not even this body.
Whenever Krishna wants to take this body, that is fine. After all, it is His property. If He wanted to keep it for some purpose and that purpose is over, then He may take the body away. The same is true of everything else in this world. Everything is Krishna’s. He is the proprietor, and He can do whatever He wants.
When there is no desire to possess anything from outside and no desire for anything external, where is the agitation? There is no fear of losing anything because there is nothing we consider ours. In this way, liberation happens when we are completely absorbed in Krishna. Even this body has nothing to do with our desire for possession.
The Vaishnavas are very dear to Krishna. Krishna bows down to all the Vaishnavas, takes the dust from their lotus feet, places it on His head, and dances in joy. Being in the groves of Vrindavana, the land of divine love, means everything is Krishna and everything is about Radha-Madhava. Everything is about Their darshan, Their love, and Their service.
If our internal world is completely filled with this—service, remembrance, and loving anugati—why would we look for anything from outside? Why would anything outside disturb us, and why would we disturb anybody outside? The question is: What is our internal world, and how much of that internal world is flowing externally?
Very short points:
Sri Guru gives us Krishna and loving service.
Being filled with Krishna frees us from possession and agitation.
Everything belongs to Krishna; nothing is truly ours.
Vrindavana is a world where everything is about Radha-Madhava.
Let our inner world be filled with Krishna and loving service.
