LIVE | In this episode of UP Bulletin, The Lallantop brings you the latest political developments from Uttar Pradesh, focusing on the ongoing protests, the BJP's political campaign and the fresh war of words between the BJP and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. The episode begins with the protest by candidates of the 68,500 Assistant Teacher Recruitment in Lucknow. As their agitation completes 70 days, the candidates have intensified their protest by surrounding the SCERT office in Nishatganj. They allege irregularities in reservation and claim that despite meeting ministers, MLAs and BJP leaders, they have not received appointment letters even after eight years. The candidates are demanding justice and a clear response from the Uttar Pradesh government. The report then examines the BJP's 'Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao' Padyatra, which the party is using to counter opposition allegations over vote theft and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP national president Nitin Nabin participated in the Gorakhpur rally, where Yogi targeted Congress, Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav over their criticism of EVMs and SIR. BJP leaders, including J.P. Nadda and Shivraj Singh Chouhan, have also been campaigning across Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, the opposition has accused the BJP of diverting public attention from real issues. The episode also covers the political controversy surrounding Akhilesh Yadav's remarks in Varanasi about whether he will contest the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. His statement triggered sharp reactions from BJP leaders, including state president Pankaj Chaudhary, who called him 'Ranchhod'. Akhilesh hit back, while BJP and its allies continued their attacks. Om Prakash Rajbhar also joined the exchange, calling Akhilesh a 'ready-made prince'.
