Come hike with me through Monreal, Germany. 🥾🇩🇪 Starting in the ridiculously picturesque village of Monreal, this trail quickly leaves the half-timbered houses behind and heads into the hills! and definitely had a few surprises waiting for me. Steep climbs, narrow forest paths, rocky sections, castle ruins, beautiful viewpoints and, for the first time on one of my hikes, sections rated T3 on the SAC hiking scale. And I LOVED it. 😂 After Nideggen pushed me physically, Monreal felt like the next step. The kind of trail that makes me want to keep improving and see what I can handle next. No speed records. No pretending to be an expert.
