He is Lord—and He is the way home. Through the stories of Thomas, Philip, and Moses, we discover that we need more than directions and more than God’s blessings. We need God Himself. The gifts of God can never replace the presence of God, and there is no substitute for a personal relationship with Jesus. Christianity doesn’t ultimately present us with a system to follow.
