Prof Luke Haseler from Curtin University presents on the topic ‘Detection of early diastolic dysfunction in women after preeclampsia’ at the 2026 WIRF Scientific Dialogue. Prof Luke Haseler is the Program Lead for Cardiovascular Physiology and a Research Professor within the Curtin Medical Research Institute. He is a physiologist whose research applies an integrative physiology approach to understanding human exercise and cardiovascular physiology in both health and disease. Prof Haseler has established a unique, world leading human integrative physiology and echocardiography laboratory at Curtin University and Fiona Stanley Hospital, and is developing a novel echocardiography method to detect early diastolic dysfunction in women after preeclampsia to prevent poor cardiovascular outcomes.
