PAPA’S TABLE: FEEDING 600 CHILDREN WITH LOVE, LEARNING & FAITH IN MALAWI

At Canaan Land in Liwonde, Malawi, we run a special feeding program called Papa’s Table. Three times a week, children gather to receive both nourishment and knowledge. On Mondays and Wednesdays, we serve porridge enriched with peanut butter, moringa, sugar, and other healthy ingredients. Fridays are extra special, as we provide locally baked bread, known as buns, served with peanut butter. On September 11, 2026, more than 600 children from villages around Machinga joined us for feeding day. Alongside their bread, they brought the books we had given them earlier—English, Mathematics, Bible Study, and Science—and spent time reading, solving problems, and learning together. Their joy was evident as they studied and shared in fellowship. At Papa’s Table, we don’t just feed their bodies—we nurture their minds and spirits. Children learn to read, speak English, and grow in the Word of God. Sometimes, we even show Bible movies on screen to bring stories of faith to life. This program is a blessing, helping children grow stronger both spiritually and physically. We are deeply grateful to Mama and Papa for their vision, and to all our donors who make this possible.
