For travelers staying around Asok or Sukhumvit, this walk offers a realistic preview of the route while showing the everyday Bangkok that exists between major shopping and transport areas. Partway through the journey, rain suddenly began to fall. Around 14:50 in the video, I briefly set the camera down to prepare an umbrella before continuing the walk. The interruption was unplanned, but it became part of the real experience of walking through Bangkok during the rainy season. This video is also part of a wider comparison filmed over two consecutive days. All walks recorded on August 31 follow the ODD SIDE, while the September 1 walks follow the EVEN SIDE. The following day, I returned to almost the same route and time from the opposite side of the road, allowing the buildings, sois, shopfronts, traffic, and street details to be compared from another perspective.
