LEVEL UP PATHS: Gohan: Put everything into Luck Krillin: Put everything into Tech until the end of Chapter 8, then pump Speed enough to always outspeed Nappa before going back to Tech (don’t know what that amount is, but it seems to be ~88 Speed, when combined with LVL 4 Speed Up) Everyone Else: Put everything into Tech CHAPTER 8: East Mt Paozu: Sequence trigger Go to West City West City BUY: As many HP Capsule 50s as you can, then Phoenix Downs with what’s left Get PRECISION CIRCUIT from the right table upstairs at Bulma’s Go to Kame House for cutscenes Go to Jingle Village Jingle Village Go to nearby hut, then check fireplace for JINGLE VILLAGE BOMB Examine the desk in the other room for an HP FRUIT Talk to the upper-right NPC for sequence trigger Mt. Frappe (fight some encounters) Krillin solos Snow Tigers Snag the Double-Edged Seal & Recovery Crest up top EQUIP: Double-Edged Seal & Full Ring (Krillin) & x2 Techs (Tien) Krillin kills everything Spinach Wastes (fight all encounters) Get Finisher Bean Holly Field (fight only encounters you can get through undamaged) 2nd Screen: Go to the bottom for KI FRUIT 2nd Screen: Take the left path to find launch, then right path to next screen CAPSULE: Replace Sleep with Darkness SKILL: LVL 3 HP (Krillin) EQUIP: x2 Techs (Tien) Beat up Dongiras (switch out Tien, and use any Hot Capsules you have) Should take 8 Turns. Have Krillin hold off on Turn 7, then switch Tien out on Turn 8 so Krillin is assured the kill CAPSULE: Replace Darkness with Sleep 1st Screen: Blow up rock for HERMIT MEDICINE Tag save point on the way out East Mt. Paozu (fight only encounters you can get through undamaged) 2nd Screen: Get LARGE BEAN in lower-right corner 5th Screen: Get SLEEP KNUCKLE past large boulder House: Get HP FRUIT from upper-left scroll SKILL: LVL Max HP (Krillin) EQUIP: Energy Ring + Evasion Crest (Yamcha) Tag save point 4th Screen: Get Ki Drink Z from the upper-right corner 2nd Screen: Get PAOZU STONE behind boulder 1st Screen: Get DEFENSE FRUIT behind boulder Sacred Land of Korin BUY: As many Large Beans as possible without selling Tap the save point 2nd Screen: CHA-LA in right tent 2nd Screen: KI FRUIT from altar in the left tent 3rd Screen: POWER FRUIT from bathtub SKILL: LVL 2 HP (Yamcha & Tien), LVL 1 Critical Up (Krillin) EQUIP: x2 Techs (Tien), Double-Edged Seal + Cha-La (Krillin) Tag the save point Hermit Spring (Take Vampire Bats without damage; Blue Hawks if you’re behind) Have Yamcha defend while taking out Spring Guardian first. Have Yamcha use Large Bean when Krillin drops below half HP. Don’t worry about reviving till Spring Guardian is destroyed. Once it’s down, use Ki Drink 30 or Ki Drink Z on Krillin (depending on how much Spring Majin was healed), then switch everyone out but Krillin. Spring Guardian should take 5 Turns, if Krillin & Tien are uninterrupted, and don’t get criticals Spring Majin will take 3 more Turns, if it was never healed, or got critted Bleak Wasteland (Try to get Piccolo to LVL 16, if convenient) CAPSULE: Gas Mask over Cold Boots USE: Finisher Bean SKILL: LVL 3 HP EQUIP: Double-Edged Seal + Skill Ring 3rd Screen: GIANT MISSLE from upper-right Tap save point Beat up dinosaur with Giant Missile + Jingle Village Bomb + Rush SKILL: LVL 1 Light Grenade (Piccolo) EQUIP: Double-Edged Seal + Full Ring (Piccolo) & Energy Ring + Recovery Emblem (Gohan) Fight a x2 Stray Dog, x2 Ostrich Chicken, or Wild Boar, if you get one 2nd Screen: Medium Bean in closest chest 2nd Screen: Defense Fruit in upper-right chest 2nd screen: Ki Drink Z in lower-left chest 1st Screen: Medium Bean in chest Piccolo uses Light Grenade while Gohan Defends. Switch out Gohan before the finishing blow. Use Ki Drink 30 at some point, if Piccolo’s LVL 15 Piccolo should take 7 Turns
