Chaturvedi noted that major over-the-top streaming platforms initially turned down the project, saying, "They rejected the story of Neem Karoli Baba," despite the spiritual guru inspiring global figures. He detailed how initial theatrical show cuts were reversed as strong word-of-mouth increased audience demand across theatres. Emphasizing clean cinema, he stated that his work avoids vulgarity and negative characters to cater to families.
