ELYSIUM - The Greek Valhalla

Forget Valhalla. The Greeks had Elysium. At the edge of the world, beyond the river Lethe, lie the Elysian Fields — where no snow falls, the Zephyr blows from the Ocean, and the sun never sets. Only those who lived with honor reach it. The rest wander Hades as pale shadows… and the guilty fall into Tartarus. A dark epic journey through ancient Greek beliefs about death: Rhadamanthys the judge, Achilles, Menelaus, Cadmus and Harmonia, Sisyphus, Tantalus, Epicurus and the last words of Socrates. The song closes with Homer's own words from the Odyssey (4.567): «ἀλλ' αἰεὶ ζεφύροιο λιγὺ πνείοντος ἀήτας Ὠκεανὸς ἀνίησιν ἀναψύχειν ἀνθρώπους» "But always the Ocean sends the gently singing breezes of the Zephyr to refresh mankind." Ξέχνα τη Valhalla. Οι Έλληνες είχαν τα Ηλύσια Πεδία. Ζήσε σαν ήρωας. 🎵 Music & lyrics: Trapενώνας 🎨 Visuals: AI generated #Elysium #GreekMythology #Trapενώνας #SymphonicMetal #GothicMetal #AncientGreece #Hades #Tartarus #ElysianFields #Odyssey #Homer #EpicMusic #DarkMetal #AIMusic #GreekMetal #valhalla
