Rainy Day in My Mountain Village 🌧️ | Traditional Cooking & Homemade Bread

Join me for a simple day in my Iranian mountain village. 🌧️🏡 Today, I prepared a traditional homemade pinto bean stew in our outdoor kitchen while the mountain weather kept changing. The rain suddenly started, stopped, and returned again, bringing a peaceful atmosphere to our village. I soaked the pinto beans overnight and cooked them with fried onions, grated tomatoes, potatoes, turmeric, black pepper, salt, and local spices. I let everything simmer slowly for about two hours until the stew was rich, tender, and full of flavor. When the rain stopped, I made fresh lavash bread in the yard and prepared a warm cup of homemade nettle tea. Finally, I enjoyed my traditional village meal with fresh bread and the beautiful mountain scenery.
