Weighing over 4 tons, this was an exceptionally large and heavy log—and the quality of the wood was truly remarkable. It is one of the finest Zelkova logs we have seen in recent years. The log produced beautiful, wide slabs with stunning grain and figure, perfect for high-end applications such as temple and shrine architecture, luxury sushi restaurants, and traditional Japanese restaurant counters.
