Ephesians 1:21 - 23 (Jesus - The Head of the Church)

Shalom! Jesus has absolute authority over every power, name, and realm—not only in the present age but in the one to come. Paul teaches that God has placed all things under His feet and appointed Him as head of the church, which is the body of Christ. This means the church does not exist by human effort but by Christ’s sovereign authority and life-giving presence i.e., Jesus directs, sustains, protects, and nourishes His people, and the church’s identity flows from Him alone. To confess that Jesus is the head of the church is to acknowledge His lordship over our lives as Christian. And, our lives are under His lordship and guided by His Word! May God bless you!
