Making (no) sense of the stamps of Sierra Leone

#stampcollecting #stamps #philately #sierraleone #ourdadsstamps #overprints #selfadhesivestamps In this episode we look at the stamps of Sierra Leone, starting with the first stamp in 1859 and the astronomically priced Fiscal overprints of 1897, we then go on to look at the impressive sets from the KGV era and beyond. Finally we discuss the complete mess of the 1960's with the unfathomable new currency overprints, stopping to give credit to the innovative self adhesive stamps and finishing with the stamps of the new republic.
