Grayson County Cougar Football @ Bowling Green

*TEN MEETINGS. TEN LOSSES. ONE MORE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE HISTORY.* 🏈 The Grayson County Cougars (7-1) travel to Bowling Green to face the Purples (4-4) in a pivotal Class 5A district matchup on Friday, October 23, 2026. Grayson County enters Friday night riding a two-game winning streak after defeating Warren Central 30-0 last week. The Cougars have recorded back-to-back shutouts and are looking to continue one of their strongest seasons in recent memory. Bowling Green enters the matchup undefeated in district play at 3-0, following a dominant 45-7 victory over Greenwood. Despite their 4-4 overall record, the Purples have faced a challenging schedule, with their four losses coming against opponents with a combined 25-9 record. *History favors Bowling Green.* The Purples lead the all-time series 10-0, with every meeting decided by at least two scores. Last season, Bowling Green defeated Grayson County 49-12. But this Cougar team has already made history this season. Last Friday, Grayson County earned its first-ever victory in Warren County, while running back Kadin Hanshaw became the school's all-time career rushing leader. Hanshaw is also approaching 4,000 career rushing yards. The district championship race adds even more significance to Friday night's contest. Bowling Green is 3-0 in district play, while Grayson County enters at 2-1. A Cougar victory would keep their district championship hopes alive, with the final standings also depending on Barren County's result. Can the Cougars end a 10-game losing streak against Bowling Green and earn their first victory over the Purples? *BELIEVE.* 🏈 *Grayson County Cougars at Bowling Green Purples* 📅 Friday, October 23, 2026 📍 Bowling Green, Kentucky 🎙️ Locker Room Show: 6:30 p.m. CT 🏈 Kickoff: 7:00 p.m. CT Watch LIVE on the K105 YouTube channel or listen on K105 as we bring you Grayson County Cougar football! #GraysonCounty #BowlingGreenPurples #CougarFootball #KentuckyHighSchoolFootball #KHSAA #K105 #HighSchoolFootball
