TSUKI — 月 | Japanese Zen Music for Serenity, Deep Relaxation & Inner Peace 🌙 Tsuki (月) is the moon the old poets watched thin and fill again — a shape that keeps changing and is never lost. Not a thing to hold, not a place to arrive, only a shape that returns. On the open veranda of a serene mountain retreat, a rōnin, a swordsman without a master, sits with his back to us beneath a bright full moon and a sky of stars. A footed tray of white rice dumplings and a cup of tea rest beside him, with his woven hat and sheathed blade on the wooden boards. Maple branches frame the distant wooded ridges, and the open night holds a gentle, unhurried calm. 🎑 A note for tonight: in Japan, 25 September 2026 is Chūshū no Meigetsu (中秋の名月), the Mid-Autumn Moon. It falls on the fifteenth night of the eighth month of the old lunar calendar — the night of tsukimi, moon-viewing — and it is why the white rice dumplings are stacked on the offering tray here. The moon reaches full two nights later, but this fifteenth night is the one Japan has watched for over a thousand years. One hour and fifteen minutes with the moon, and nothing that asks for your attention. Japanese Zen music for serenity and deep rest, built on shakuhachi flute, koto and singing bowls. 🎧 Perfect for: • Meditation & mindfulness • Deep relaxation & rest • Stress relief & anxiety relief • Deep focus, study & work • Yoga, tea time & quiet evenings 🎼 About this mix: Long-form Zen ambience — breathy shakuhachi, sparse koto and the long decay of singing bowls over still temple air. 27 pieces in one unbroken session, mixed without builds or drops so nothing pulls you back out. 1 hour 15 minutes. 🌿 Zen Irodori creates Japanese zen music bathed in a single hue — one hour, one color, one quiet room. Each session is shaped around the sounds of old Japan — shakuhachi-style flute, koto tones and temple bells — arranged into long, unbroken pieces. 🔔 Subscribe if you would like a quiet room waiting for you each time you come back. #ZenMusic #Serenity #RelaxingMusic #AutumnLeaves
