Row Over Dy CM Remarks: Save Arunachal Youth Organisation Gives Millo Ambo 3 Days to Apologise

Itanagar, August 30: The Save Arunachal Youth Organisation has issued a three-day ultimatum to Millo Ambo, calling upon him to withdraw his recent remarks seeking the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and tender an apology. Addressing the media, organisation President Balang Sonam Effa and General Secretary Bikash Mrri Dodum defended the Deputy Chief Minister’s long-standing contribution to Arunachal Pradesh. They said Chowna Mein and his forefathers have played a significant role in the state’s public life and development since the NEFA era. The organisation described Chowna Mein as a senior and “fatherly political figure” who has served the people of Arunachal Pradesh for decades. It termed the demand for his resignation inappropriate and urged Millo Ambo to reconsider his remarks.
