Oi Bhubonomonomohini - Rishi Banerjee - Rabindrasangeet

Written and composed by Rabindranath Tagore in 1896, the song is a glorious ode to Mother India in which he personifies the nation with the divine attributes of Goddess Durga who radiates spiritual, intellectual and physical beauty as a nurturing mother. It was famously performed at the 12th annual conference of the Indian National Congress in December 1896.
