STORYTIME: My Internship NIGHTMARE 😭 I needed an internship to complete my college internship requirements and graduate on time, and I genuinely thought finding one was going to be the hardest part. Little did I know, the internship I ended up getting would turn into one of the most stressful work experiences I’ve ever had. In today’s storytime, I’m sharing what happened during my unpaid PR and broadcast journalism internship, the red flags I missed, the communication issues I experienced, and the moment I found out what was being said about me behind the scenes. I’m also sharing what this experience taught me about internships, workplace communication, advocating for yourself, and knowing when an opportunity may not be the right fit.
