Per scoprirlo sono andato da BieTi Moto a Roma e, in sole tre ore, ho provato entrambe le versioni sullo stesso percorso: traffico cittadino, strada veloce, curve verso Tivoli e anche un tratto di sterrato. La V-Strom 800 SE punta su ruote in lega, anteriore da 19”, maggiore accessibilità e comportamento stradale. La V-Strom 800 DE risponde con cerchi a raggi, ruota anteriore da 21”, sospensioni dalla maggiore escursione e una vocazione più avventurosa. Ma nella guida reale queste differenze si sentono davvero? La 21 è sempre la scelta migliore oppure, per la maggior parte dei motociclisti, la 19 è più equilibrata? The V-Strom 800 SE features cast wheels, a 19-inch front wheel, a more accessible seat and a stronger road-oriented character. The V-Strom 800 DE adds spoked wheels, a 21-inch front wheel, longer-travel suspension and greater off-road capability. But can you really feel these differences in everyday riding? Is the 21-inch wheel always the best choice, or is the 19-inch version more balanced for most riders?
