When I first heard about Deadlock, it was because my friend told me that this character may ruin my life and roughly 500 games later, I can say that he is wrong. This character is my life. Although they've nerfed her lane so hard it's almost impossible, you still very much can win, and a lot of Celeste players default to tying the lane, especially in pro play, as players are expected to assume their opponents are of similar skill. In matchmaking however, this isn't the case, and I encourage all burgeoning Celeste players to try and win the lane, because if you do win, which will happen eventually, the game is already over, so a lot of this video is stressing this quick little gambit you can run to stomp your games!
