Joyce Hyatt (PhD, DNP, CNM, FACNM) is Professor Emerita at Rutgers University. A retired nurse, midwife/women's healthcare provider who brings decades of frontline experience to everything she writes and teaches. Dr. Hyatt is an international nurse-midwife consultant and served as a past representative to the United Nations for the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM).
