Rookery Waters - Weekend Away - Part 2

Day 3 and 4 at Rookery Waters for this video. Day 3 - I was on Peg 7 on the Crow Lake and really enjoyed my day. There are fish all over in these lakes and any method can catch fish, you just need to decide where and how you are going to get the best from the peg. I was hoping for my fish on the rid and line but ended catching most of my fish down the margins. Day 4 - I was on Peg 23 on the Jay Lake, we were originally booked on at Float Fish Farm but with the low weight from Saturday the lads asked if we could fish Rookery again. I was feeling pretty tired at this stage of the weekend and didn't feel 100% and hoped that things would go my way. Unfortunately that didn't happen and I feel I fished the peg wrong and could have caught more being patient, instead of exhausting all my options in the first 2 hours, which frustrated me and left me feeling out of sorts. I did manage to catch a few fish on the short line but being too aggressive with feed cost me a lot of foul hooked fish. I cant wait to go back later this year to hopefully put a few wrongs right.
