Constructing artificial nesting logs for Carnaby's Black Cockatoo.

Constructing artificial nesting logs for Carnaby's Black Cockatoo. Wally Kerkhof has been making Carnaby nests in Moora for nearly 40 years. This video documents how he does it - A fallen tree, and a lot of love and dedication (with a little help from his friends!). (PS I will do an extended vid with Wally commentating over the top). The video complements a brochure published by MCC last year. Download from website. Link in comments. Ps We will be running a Carnaby say with Wally and the group in Moora 30th Aug this year. Note the date and watch for more details
