Letterboxd Visits the Set of Josh Ruben's Heart Eyes

In the latest episode of Letterboxd Visits, we tour the New Zealand set of Josh Ruben's horror-romcom Heart Eyes. From production designer Rob Bavin's True Detective-inspired set pieces to props master Abi Wollcombe's Friday the 13th-style prop knives, we dive deep into the twisted world of Heart Eyes—even getting a jump scare from the terrifyingly good work of FX makeup artists Laura Stables and Luana Miller. Starring Olivia Holt, Mason Gooding, Jordana Brewster, Devon Sawa, and Gigi Zumbado, Heart Eyes is in theaters around the world now via ‪@sonypictures‬ .
