The opening began as the Stafford Gambit, but rather than accepting the free pawn, my opponent played 4.Nc3?!?!?! transposing into a Halloween Gambit. I then played 4.Bc5?!?!!? insisting on the Stafford Gambit. After 5.Nf3?!?! we had some weird opening where I was down a pawn, but had some compensation.
