Daniel WK 1 - Cultural Battle

🔥 DANIEL — WEEK 1: CULTURAL BATTLE | Standing Strong in Babylon How do you follow Jesus when the culture around you is moving in the opposite direction? In Daniel 1, Daniel and his friends were taken from everything familiar and placed in Babylon—a culture determined to change their names, reshape their identity, and challenge their convictions. But Daniel made a decision: “Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself…” — Daniel 1:8 The same cultural battle continues today. Our world is constantly trying to tell us what to believe, how to live, what truth is, and who we should become. But followers of Jesus are called to live differently. In Week One of our Daniel series, we discover: • How Babylon attempted to reshape Daniel’s identity • Why conviction must be established before compromise comes • How to stand for biblical truth without losing our love for people • Why holiness still matters • How the Holy Spirit empowers us to live differently in a culture moving away from God You can live IN Babylon without allowing Babylon to live IN you. The question isn't simply, “What is culture becoming?” The greater question is: “Who are WE becoming in the middle of it?” 🙏 If this message encourages you, share it with someone who needs the reminder to stand strong.
