I have a proven track record of reaching across communities to bring together changemakers who can scale up proven ideas and catalyze new ideas. I have been involved in program management and have been an active member of the women’s political community in Arkansas, Alaska, and nationwide for 8+ years, including serving as a City Commissioner for Arkansas’ Capitol city, Little Rock. Most recently, I served as the Coordinated Campaign Director of the Alaska Democratic Party in which I created and led their candidate political training program. However, nothing topped being a strategic team member in executing a significant role in Alaska Congresswoman Mary Peltola making history by becoming the first Alaska Native and woman to be elected to the Congress of the United States. In 2019, I received my Master in Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service and chose to focus my degree entirely in women's rights & advocacy issues, especially related to women & politics. During this time, I served as a Gender Equity Associate for the Women's Foundation of Arkansas and served as a team member that created Arkansas’ first Gender Equity Scorecard for the workplace, which at the time was one of three in the nation. I also graduated from the Campaign School at Yale University. During and after completing my Master in Public Service degree, I had the pleasure of working at Vote Run Lead, the nation's largest non-partisan, anti-racist, and pro-democracy women’s political training non-profit organization. I have served in multiple roles at Vote Run Lead including the National Program Manager, Trainer Engagement & Development Director, and the Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Volunteer Director. Throughout each of these roles, I have utilized my natural ability to implement a growth mindset, connect others and dots, and to weave in and out of multiple projects to identify areas of collaboration in order to scale and support the mission of Vote Run Lead. Strategy, being a team player, and communication come naturally for me and allow me to thrive. I am at my best when I connect with others to make a difference in women’s lives. Hearing women’s feedback and input serves as my fuel, and that propels me to keep pushing for the betterment of all women and the organization’s mission.
