Session description: IoT, Embedded Linux and on-hardware development generally suffers from poor tooling and longer lead times. Compiling, flashing, restarting. The loop is slow and costly. And it gets much worse once you hit production and you need updates via the cloud. If DevOps taught us anything it is to shrink cycle times, get more frequent feedback. Nerves is an open source project for Linux devices that addresses this using swedish innovations such as Erlang, OTP and the BEAM. Also Elixir.
