At least 30 children have died since May in a cluster of remote villages in Balaghat district in Madhya Pradesh. The victims ranged from babies just three or four months old to an 18-year-old, and most were from the Baiga community - one of India's most vulnerable tribal groups. But disease is only part of the story. In remote, forested parts of Balaghat, where Maoist insurgency once took root, reaching a health centre can be a challenge in itself. The BBC's Anahita Sachdev and Soutik Biswas report from the ground. Filmed and edited by Anahita Sachdev. #Balaghat #MadhyaPradesh #Baiga #ChildDeaths #TribalIndia #Healthcare #indianews Click here to subscribe to our channel 👉🏽 https://bbc.in/3whmDp3 ----------------------------------- This is the official BBC News India channel.
