My birthday haul featuring Mijello Mission Titanium gouache and Art Toolkit

This year I had something to look forward to in January (besides my birthday) - I'm going away to Mexico City for a workshop with the International Watercolour Society! Yes, I know gouache isn't quite watercolour but I wanted to take some with me without adding bulk to my limited luggage. I've tried doing gouache travel palettes before but the trouble is that the paint cracks unlike, for the most part, watercolour. Then I saw something that said that the Mijello Mission Titanium gouache doesn't crack so I thought I would try it out. And my husband was looking for something to get for me for my birthday. Perfect timing. I wanted a shallow, light palette with large pans and that's where Art Toolkit came in. I love my little mini palette that I got in California last year. This one is the larger Folio size with 15 square pans. You can buy individual pans for these palettes or get them already loaded with pans as I did.
