In this video you will see me paint a bright sunlit forest scene with birch trees using a limited palette of 4 colors: primaries and a dark tone. We will try to convey a sense of light and atmosphere by playing around with stages of paper drying. Birch trees are one of my favorite subjects to paint, so I hope you join me and paint along😊 🎨 Materials Used: Watercolor paper: Saunders Waterford Paper (300 gsm) CP Paints: Daniel Smith Colors: Cobalt Blue, Hansa Yellow Light, Quinacridone Rose,Sepia Brushes: feel free to use your favorite brushes that you are used to painting with. Mine are mostly natural brushes (squirrel and sable). 💙 For more art tips and tutorials, follow me on: Instagram:   / daniwatercolors   And if you like my videos and want to see more, you can support me: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/daniwate... 🤓CHAPTERS🤓 0:00 | MATERIALS AND SKETCH 1:53 | FIRST WASH 10:58 | MIDDLE VALUES 16:58 | TREES 34:47 | FINAL DETAILS Happy painting!
