It takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes for a one-way trip with stops including Giessbach Falls, Iseltwald, and Bönigen. A modern fleet comfortably transports guests from shore to shore – complemented by the flagship Lötschberg which is a carefully restored steamship from 1914 that brings nostalgic charm to the journey. Lake Brienz is the deepest lake located entirely within #swiss borders reaching a maximum depth of 260 meters. The turquoise water is because of tiny particles of sediment washed into the lake by glacial waters from the Lütschine and the Aare rivers. As these extremely fine glacial particles sink very slowly, they produce an extraordinary visual effect that is only enhanced by the cleanliness of the lake. IMPORTANT Majority of travelers start the boat trip from Interlaken OST ending up on a super crowded boat.
