◉ Estonian folk tune “Kannel” Performed by Duo Kannel Paulina and Miia: Paulina Andrejeva and Miia Polding Teacher: Kristi Mühling Tallinn School of Music and Ballet Estonia, Tallinn This video presents an interpretation of the Estonian folk tune “Kannel”, performed by a young Estonian kannel duo. The piece represents the living tradition of Estonian folk music and reveals the delicate, transparent, and resonant sound world of the kannel — one of the emblematic plucked string instruments of the Baltic region. The performance combines precision, ensemble sensitivity, and refined timbral balance. It is especially valuable as a representation of contemporary academic work with traditional instrumental heritage, where folk melody is preserved while presented with artistic clarity and musical culture. © X International Folk Instruments Performers Competition “Art-Dominanta-2023” 02–16 April, Kharkiv, Ukraine ua Nomination: Ensembles IV category – students of secondary-special educational institution -----------♪----------- ◉ Естонська народна мелодія “Kannel” Виконує дует каннелісток Paulina and Miia у складі: Paulina Andrejeva та Miia Polding Викладач: Kristi Mühling Tallinn School of Music and Ballet © X Міжнародний конкурс виконавців на народних інструментах «Арт-Домінанта-2023» 12–16 квітня, Харків, Україна ua Номінація: «Ансамблі» IV категорія – студенти коледжів -----------♪----------- 💚 Subscribe and click on the bell 🔔 Підпишись на канал і тисни на дзвіночок    / @artdominanta   📢 Follow Art Dominanta 👇 Слідкуй за нами Facebook Page —   / artdominanta   Facebook Group —   / artdominanta   Telegram — https://t.me/artdominanta Website — https://artdominanta.com -----------♪----------- #kannel #artdominanta2023 #psaltery #estonianmusic #folkmusic #duoperformance #traditionalmusic #balticmusic #estonia #tallinn #PaulinaAndrejeva #MiiaPolding #KristiMuhling #TallinnSchoolOfMusicAndBallet #folkinstrument #stringinstrument #kannelmusic #ensembleperformance #ArtDominanta
