Drazen Petrovic Makes a Splash in Game 2 of the 1990 NBA Finals

June 7, 1990 - The only NBA Finals game in which he saw more than nine minutes of playing time, rookie Drazen Petrovic connected on 4-of-5 shots from the field, scoring eight points in the Portland Trail Blazers' 106-105 overtime win. Petrovic, the first European player to appear in an NBA Finals game, ascended to become an All-NBA player with the New Jersey Nets in the early '90s, averaging 22.3 points per game while shooting .449 percent from deep.
