This is my 2nd collaborative work with my mentor Mr. Zia Tabarak from Street Food PK. While his visit to Islamabad, we got an opportunity to visit local Dhabbas of Quaid E Azam University for a breakfast at Majeed Huts. Before that we visited the Shrine of Bari Imam for Dua (Prayers) followed by visit to local Dhabbas located in front of Quaid E Azam University. This is quite unique place to be and there are aplenty of food options over there. The agenda was to try famous Crisis Omelette of Majeed Huts but while we reached, we realized that the Crisis Omelette is a main course item so we ordered few items of Breakfast including Anda Bhurji, Aloo Ki Bhujia, Fried Channe, Chicken Malai Boti, A combo Of Anda Bhuri and Aloo Ande with Crispy Parathas. As per my experience, Channe were not so good but overall it was a good experience. Following breakfast we made had a sudden plan to visit Taxila to see the old remains of Sirkap but before that we had an opportunity to have lunch over there. Off course lunch menu was obvious and that was Crisis Omelette which was invented by their Chef during the moment of "Crisis". Few students of university came to the Dhabba a bit late after getting free from the class but at that time lunch was finished and few leftovers of different dishes were available. The chef got an idea and he mixed all leftovers and stuffed them in Omelette. On that Crisis moment there was the invention of Crisis Omelette. Taste wise it wasn't that brilliant. Besides Crises Omelette we also had Seekh Kabab Karahi in which Kababs are grilled on coal and then added in tomato gravy and cooked like curry. Kabab Karahi was awesome. After treating our tummies we started our journey towards Taxila which is very archaeological site in Rawalpindi. The place is famous for remains of the ancient civilization and Taxila Museum. The place is really a very unique place to visit and learn about the old civilizations which used to live here in this region centuries ago. It was a wonderful experience and I really enjoyed a good company of Mr. Zia Tabarak. Many thanks to him for accepting my request to visit Islamabad.
