Let's explore the Dune Ridge Trail - Indiana Dunes National Park

I've driven past Indiana Dunes National Park several times, figuring there wasn't much to see. From the short time I was there, it seemed obvious I was wrong. There are a variety of trails and terrain from sand dunes, to the beach to wetlands. I was impressed with the variety. Unfortunately, I had very limited time in the park and only had time for one trail. We chose this one because it was shorter and relatively close to where we were. It was a pretty neat trail, and even though there wasn't a lot of elevation gain, we did get a nice view of one of the wetlands. I cannot wait until I can return and check it out in more depth.
