3 Portraits, Only 7 Colors | A Quiet Gouache Session

Hi everyone, TuTu here! Join me for a quiet evening in the studio as we explore the beauty of 'Quiet Faces' using a very limited gouache palette. In this session, I wanted to see how much emotion I could capture with just 7 colors. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, get comfortable, and let’s paint together. Which of the three portraits is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! If you want to paint along with me, subtitles are available in CC Thank you so much for spending some time here. I hope you enjoy the video! ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 The 7-color challenge 00:16 First Portrait 11:05 Cleaning My Palette with toothpaste? 11:33 Getting Ready for Portrait Two 12:16 Second Portrait ( I almost gave up on this one) 25:20 Third Portrait (my first dark skin tone portrait) Subscribe for cozy painting and 🌿 References & Finished Paintings You can find the references I used, as well as high-resolution images of the finished paintings, on my free Patreon page:   / paintedbytutu   🎨 Materials Gouache: White, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Viridian, Sap Green, Violet Purple, Orange, Ultramarine Blue Paper: 400 gsm Brushes: Round brushes Eraser: Kneadable eraser #gouache #GouachePainting #PortraitPainting #cozyart
